- Prickly Pear fruit puree
Prickly pear fruit puree or fruit pulp is made from 100% organic opuntia ficus indica fruits picked up at maturity .
It is seedless, sugar and additives free and conditioned Frozen in 25 or 180 kg drums. Prickly pear juice tastes sweet and aromatic which could be easily processed in food and beverage industries (biscuits, ice cream, yoghurts, smoothies,..) This puree displays high antioxidant capacity by fighting against the formation of free radicals, it is also promoted for treating diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity and hangovers



- Pomegranate puree / juice
Pomegranate fruit puree is made from 100% organic pomegranate fruits from our local suit variety " Gabsi" cultivated in the coastal area of Gabes (South-East of Tunisia) where pomegranate trees grow in the shade of date palms.
Known for its high concentration of polyphenols (antioxidants) which prevent cells from aging, cardiovascular diseases and cancer, pomegranate aril juice is also an important source of micronutrients. It is naturally rich in potassium and copper and also contains vitamins E, B1, B2 and B5.
It is sugar and additives free and conditioned Frozen. Pomegranate juice tastes sweet and aromatic which could be easily processed in food and beverage industries (biscuits, ice cream, yoghurts, smoothies,..) Packaging 25 kg - 180 kg drums



- Watermelon Juice
Watermelons are a member of the Cucurbitaceae family originated in Africa.
It’s one of the few foods that contain the phytochemical antioxidants lycopene in large amounts. Nopal Tunisie grows, selects and processes the best watermelons. In order to guarantee the typical colour and taste of fresh fruit, only selected fruit will be crushed and refined to obtain the fine juice.
Each cup of juice has significant levels of vitamins A, B6 and C, lots of lycopene and amino acids.
There's even a modest amount of potassium. In addition, this summer snack is fat-free, very low in sodium and has only around 40 calories per cup. Watermelon juice has numerous health benefits.

- Dried Pomegranate Arils
The pomegranate fruit is berry-like with a leathery rind enclosing many seeds surrounded by the juicy arils, which comprise the edible portion of the fruit, Pomegranates are one of the most nutritious fruits - high in vitamin C and potassium and a good source of fiber while being low in calories.
Pomegranates also contain high amounts of antioxidants which protect the body and are credited with helping in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and certain types of cancers. The arils are separated from the peel and then dried at low temperature to obtain dried pomegranate arils.



- Pomegranate dried peels
Pomegranates are known for their taste and amazing health benefits.
However, very few know about the benefits of its skin which we throw away.
Like the fruit, the peel too has lots of benefits. Because of its healing properties, pomegranate peels can effectively fight acne, pimples and rashes.
The peels are rich in antioxidants and help in keeping bacteria and other infections away.
They also hydrate, protect the skin from pollutants and other environmental toxins and restore the pH balance of the skin. Availability: Entire/ granules/ powder.



- Dried Rosemary Leaves
Rosemary is a small evergreen plant that belongs to an aromatic family of herbs, commonly used fresh or dried to flavor various dishes or drinks.



- Dried Tomatoes Flakes
Our "Rio grande" tomatoes are cultivated in the central-west of Tunisia.
At maturity, the fresh fruits are harvested, washed and cut into long strips then naturally dried on a sun dryer covered by a canvas to protect tomatoes against insects . Dehydration takes few days (no more than 5 days).
The dried tomatoes could be consumed either in flakes or powdered. This product is certified organic fair trade.



- Dried Prickly Pear Fruits
Dried prickly pears are processed from our organic certified fruits in Kasserine region.
The mature fruits are carefully hand-picked, cleaned and automatically washed.
Before drying, the fruits are then cut into slices or cubes according to client demand.



- Prickly Pear Dried Flowers
Our prickly pear flowers are hand picked in june exclusively from organic prickly pear fruits then sun-dried under controlled conditions.
The prickly pear flower extracts have anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic properties. The alcohol extracts of the flowers of the prickly pears have an anti-inflammatory effect and a strong analgesic action.
Studies show that opuntia ficus flower extracts have antioxidant, anti-ulcerative and beneficial effects against prostatic hyperplasia and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
Prickly pear flowers are also edible and used in the production of herbal dietary supplements and infusion. Availability: whole flowers/ granules/ powder.



- Prickly pear seed flour
Nopal Tunisie prickly pear seeds flour is a gluten-free flour with excellent nutritional properties produced exclusively from organic central-west Tunisian prickly pear seeds from Zelfen.
The defatted seeds contain on average 4.5% of proteins, 4% of lipids and 15.5% of fibers.
The flour contains a high amount of iron and magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and calcium. Thanks to a high “link point with the oil” (which means the prickly pear seed flour “sticks” very well with the oil), the prickly pear flour is ideal, as well as for bread-making, for the preparation of meats, salami and desserts.
The proteins present in the flour, thanks to their high emulsifying and foaming properties, are also excellent as dressings for salads, sausages, soups and cakes. Prickly pear seeds flour can be also used as a complementary ingredient for the production of biscuits and gluten-free products.

- Pomegranate seed flour
Nopal Tunisie Pomegranate seed flour contains a higher amounts of specific nutritionally valuable and biologically active components with over than 10% protein, 15% lipid, 50% dietary fiber.
Pomegranate seed flour could be used as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, anti-cancer, enhancing the immune system. Its application as a food supplement leads to enhancement of the nutritional value and healthy properties of final products.



- Date Kernel Flour
Date fruit (Phoenix dactylifera ) is the staple food in the Middle East.
This delicious edible fruit comes from the date palm, a plant of the Palmaceae family that grows in arid and sunny areas of the Middle East. All its parts are used, the flesh is directlyconsumed and the seeds are ground into flour after being cleaned and sun-dried .
The date seed flour is an ideal natural supplement for dietary formulation for its content of many beneficial ingredients such as oleic acid, dietary fibers, and polyphenols,… It has been lately widely used in food industry in bread making and hot beverages especially as a great substitute for coffee, without impairment to sensory characteristics.
Also this precious powder has many antioxidant properties and several health benefits, such us treating gastro-intestinal disorders, excretion of kidney stone, regulation of blood sugar,…



- Nopal Powder
Organic fair trade nopal powder is a dietary supplement made from dried nopal cactus, which is primarily grown in the semi arid region in Tunisia called kasserine.
The cactus also called prickly pear is known for its hight content of fiber, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. Nopal Tunisie farms located in Kasserine produce nopal with high fibers content (>40%).
The Nopal leaves are gently dried at low temperature and ground into a fine powder in our modern factory, using a technology that preserves all of the vital phytonutrients available from this plant.
Nopal powder has been used for hundreds of years as both a food source and a medicinal herb. Because of its high insoluble fiber content (cellulose and lignin), many people use Nopal powder as a digestion enhancer, and for cleansing of the colon .
The nopal is also recommended for people who want to reduce their calories intake.

- Frosen Pomegranate Arils

- Frozen Peeled Prickly Pear Fruits
Our organic prickly pears are carefully hand-picked from our own farms in central-west Tunisia (Kasserine).
The fruit is edible, although it has to be peeled carefully to remove the small spines on the outer skin before consumption, its flavor is sweet and aromatic and tastes somewhat like a watermelon with hard seeds inside which can be eaten raw .
After peeling, they are stored at low temeperature theses seeds are separated from the pulp to obtain a fine puree which could be easily processed in the beverage industries. This paradisiac fruit is highly rich in A, C and K vitamins. It also contains interesting levels of calcium, potassium , magnesium and high in dietary fiber.
